I always imagined that the launch of a new website for any organisation is all jolly exciting and pretty straightforward – we think of a few words and someone clever (and usually frightfully young) puts it somewhere in cyberspace for all to see. Well, it wasn’t quite like that after all and it has been a lot more complicated than my initial thoughts would suggest. True, ably led by Susanne, we thought of a few words and a few clever people have helped us design the website and launch it onto the world wide web. But converting all the thoughts and ideas into linked pages, visible on computers, laptops, tablets and smart phones, has been quite a fascinating journey but I think the end result has been worth it.
We have tried to place particular emphasis on the team approach here and I think this is reflected on the website, where all the team members are featured, so you will know who you are likely to be speaking to and who will be looking after you. We have tried to make life easier for our patients by introducing a “Booking Online” facility, giving you the opportunity to book appointments. We have a bewildering wealth of information on our pages, but if you have a question about any of the many treatments, then simply call. Our telephones still work and our Patient Advisors would be delighted to help you.
So here we are – The Dental Spa has a new website and we like it. However, it hasn’t been designed for us, it is for you and a way of letting you know what we do here, not only what treatments we offer but more importantly the philosophy behind our approach.
