The tear trough is the dark shadow and line under the eye, it can often be hereditary and gets worse with age.This is not the same as an under eye bag which can only be removed with surgery.

At The Dental Spa I use a light hyaluronic filler with a canula to reduce the shadow and hollow under the eye minimally.The canula is less invasive than a needle and so there is very little downtime after the procedure.

My patients come for a complimentary consultation to discuss their concerns, their medical history is assessed and photographs are taken .If they decide to go ahead they return and have a numbing cream placed at the treatment site for 40 minutes.When this has worked the treatment takes about 40 minutes, it is pain free, and the results can be seen immediately.

I always let my patients look at themselves, and they too can assess if they want a little more product.I am very gentle and like to get my patients back to review them and to see if they need a top up.There is no charge for this if it is done with in a month of treatment.

After any medical procedure like this there is always a risk of bruising or infection, in a proper clinical environment this is minimal.

All the staff at the Dental Spa understand the treatments and are at the end of the phone to answer questions and put your mind at rest.Anything worrying patients is seen very quickly too.Initial treatments last 12-18 months but subsequent treatments can last longer.
