We are preparing to take on a new look later this month to raise money to support children and young people with cancer.
Clinical Director Roy Dixon and the team, will be donning a variety of theatrical wigs for ‘Wig Wednesday’ on 21st May, in hope to raise money for a leading cancer support charity, CLIC Sargent.
The team will be collecting donations all day in the practice based at Darwin Court in Oxon Business Park, as well as hosting a cake sale to generate funds.
We are all looking forward to seeing our patients on ‘Wig Wednesday’ and we’ve all been busy practising our baking skills for the cake sale. This may seem like just a bit of fun for us, but the funds we raise will be very much valued by a fantastic charity.
CLIC Sargent aims to ease the impact of childhood cancer on children, young people and their families through clinical, practical and emotional support.
So, If you’d like to see us in our wigs, sample our baking and add to our fundraising efforts, pop into the practice between 8.15am and 5pm on Wednesday 21st May.
