I am French and lived in many European countries before settling down in Wales in 2005. I have two children and started training as a dental nurse later in life after raising my daughters. My first experience was working in a small but busy rural NHS practice as a receptionist/dental nurse. I qualified as a dental nurse in 2009.
A year later, I passed the national radiography exam for dental nurses. This is when a position opened for a dental nurse at the Dental Spa and I joined the team. I have enjoyed working in all areas of dentistry, facial aesthetics, orthodontic and skin. I recently trained as first aider for the practice with the St John’s Ambulance and like to carry the role. I like working in the Dental Spa as no two days are the same and there are many opportunities to learn new skills and techniques.
I enjoy our in house training and team building exercises as we always have a good team attendance and participation. We have a good team here and always find ways to celebrate an occasion after work.
