GP with a Special Interest in Dermatology since 2016

I’m a local GP with a special interest in dermatology. I moved to Shropshire in 2006 after qualifying as a doctor from a medical university in my hometown of Szczecin, Poland. I completed my foundation training in Shropshire and initially trained in paediatrics before deciding on a career change. Whilst training to become a GP, I developed an interest in dermatology. My professional work is shared between my GP work and dermatology outpatients clinic. I was fortunate to be offered a position as a dermatology specialty doctor in RSH in 2016. I have the privilege to work alongside an excellent team of dermatology consultants and nurses.

I have completed the Cardiff University Certificate in Dermoscopy (the science of diagnosing moles using magnification and polarised light).

My particular interests are diagnosing skin lesions, including assessment of moles and lesions suspicious of being skin cancers, dermoscopy and skin surgery.

I’ve had the pleasure to work and train with Dr Reid, from whom I have now taken over at The Dental Spa. I hope that all well-established patients, as well as new patients, will be pleased with my dermatological and surgical expertise.

I live with my partner and two children, and so am trying to juggle my professional and home life to achieve a happy balance. I enjoy horse riding, days out with my family, exploring our beautiful local countryside, playing musical instruments and singing. I am planning to take up wood turning as a hobby if there is enough spare time left.
