Pauline started her career as a dental nurse in the Army where she worked in the oral surgery department at Woolwich Military Hospital. She later studied at the Royal Dental School of Dental Hygiene, gaining a Diploma in Dental Hygiene in 1985.
After spending time working and raising a family in the US, Pauline returned to the UK and settled in the Shrewsbury area where she has lived for 20 years, working in general dentistry and referral practices. Pauline is a member of the British Dental Hygienists Association, the British Dental Health Foundation and the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy.
Motivated by the constant challenges of helping patients to desire and achieve healthy mouths and smiles to be proud of, Pauline is particularly interested in helping nervous patients to gain confidence and feel in control of what is happening in their mouths.
Pauline attends regular scientific meetings to keep updated on current concepts in dentistry. Away from work she keeps fit with her local walking group and attends weekly aerobic classes.
